Annual Art Show spotlights Virtual Reality
Easton Shoveltown Cultural District has held an annual art show at the 50 Oliver Street Studios of Easton Community Access Television for the past 4 years. A talented array of accomplished and emerging artists share and sell paitings, photographs and sculptures. This year the new Shoveltown Brewery had a beer tasting. ECAT also hosted a Virtual Reality (VR) painting program. Individuals donned the googles and held two joysticks and were able to paint in 3d space. This new kind of art was a delight for all ages. The installation was managed by the Public VR Lab with he BIG Interactive group of Brookline.
