It's a platform for the creative, an outlet for the passionate, and a bonding experience for your team. The ECAT Film Sprint has been an annual event in Easton, MA since 2010.

We are excited to announce that the 2018 ECAT Film Sprint will be held on July 20th-July 24th!

The film sprint is a competition where filmmakers, either by themselves or more commonly in teams, must complete a film within a short period of time. You will be assigned a theme and an item from a random drawing that must be included in your film. We'll meet at ECAT, 50 Oliver ST Easton MA, on July 20th at 7p.m. for the drawing. Only one member of your team needs to be present. From then you have until July 24th at 11:59 to submit your film.

Each film needs to be 100 seconds or less so we can show them at our 100 Second Film Festival Screening in October. The first place film will receive $100

If you are interested please email Kim at with the names of your crew to register.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on July 20th.

100-Second Film Festival.

The 100-Seconds is an expression of creativity using the language of motion media and the time constraint of 100 seconds.  Anchored in Greater Boston Massachusetts the project launched in 2005.  The festival has two goals. The first is to facilitate the creation of local 100 second (or less) films through community workshops and exhibitions. The second is to share these films with International short film festivals as part of a cultural exchange.

Workshops and enrichment programs around these festivals takes place over the winter and spring.

These festivals are fun, creative and challenging and bring your skills to the next level.

The Deadline to enter the Hockomock Film Festival is June 1st with an award show June 15th.
