About Us

Easton Community Access Television, ECAT, or EastonCAT is a 501c3 non profit organization that administers the community access cable in Easton, Massachusetts. ECAT was formed in 2009 through an agreement between Comcast and the Town of Easton and Verizon and the Town of Easton. ECAT currently administers three channels: Community channel 9 on Comcast and 22 on Verizon FIOS. Our Government channel 98 on Comcast and 23 on Verizon FIOS. Our Education channels 97 on Comcast and 24 on Verizon.


ECAT features a variety of local programming that is produced by residents and groups and municipal agencies in Easton. There are approximately 7200 cable subscribers in Easton, Massachusetts. Residents may request that a program produced independently of ECAT be aired on the channel. Any resident in Easton is invited to call us at 508-230-7200 to learn more and schedule a tour of our facility at 50 Oliver St. Ask for Jason or Kim. ECAT also provides the equipment and training needed to create TV programming. We have a fully functional TV studio, 2 post production editing suites and a selection of video cameras, tripods, microphones and other accessories for productions out in the field.


We conduct 1-to-1 and group workshops in TV studio production, video editing and camera techniques as well as provide tours.
